A little guidance. A clearer way forward.

Why we built it

Help them move forward.
Without relearning it all yourself.

Homework can turn into a second job for parents: revisiting a subject, figuring out how it is taught today, and trying to explain it when everyone is already tired.

We built DAX to give students somewhere to work through that confusion. The aim is to help them understand their next move and build confidence in their own reasoning.

A parent’s guide to getting started

Set up your family.
Stay part of the learning.

01

Create your parent account.

Start at MathHelper.io and choose Create parent account. Your parent dashboard is where you enroll students and return to their learning activity.

02

Invite your students.

Choose Add Child and enter your student’s email. They receive an invitation to set up their own account. Their status changes from pending to active after they accept the invitation.

03

Explore the parent dashboard.

  • See your enrolled students and outstanding invitations.
  • Select an active student to open their tutoring conversations.
  • Review what they asked and how DAX guided the discussion.
  • Use that context to decide where a follow-up conversation would help.

Inside the student’s account

Bring the homework. Work through it together.

Your student can share a photo of a problem or type a question. DAX guides them through the reasoning and asks them to try the next step. If an explanation does not click, they can ask for it to be broken down further.

  • Support across math, science, writing, and history.
  • Guidance tailored to students from sixth grade through college.
  • Photo input for homework that is difficult to type.
  • Follow-up explanations within the tutoring conversation.
  • Separate student access linked to the parent account.

DAX A moment of understanding

StudentI’m stuck on 3x + 6 = 18.

DAXLet’s start by getting the term with x on its own. What could we subtract from both sides?

Student6, so 3x = 12?

DAXExactly. Now there are three equal groups of x. How could you find the value of one group?

Built for families. Designed for learning.
